Open Internet Explorer.
Go to the properties.
Go to Security.
Go to restricted sites.
Add https://apps.skype.com.
Save it.
Enjoy no ads.
You lose the home tab, but Skype still works fine. Makes it work SO much better.
Should work on any desktop version! No more ads for you!
